2 cups buttermilk
3 tablespoons honey or molasses
1 1/2 tablespoon melted butter
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup each: walnuts, chopped raisins
Combine beaten egg with buttermilk, honey or molasses and melted butter. Mix together flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder; stir into wet mixture. Stir in chopped walnuts and raisins.
Spoon into 2 small greased loaf pans or 1 large loaf pan; bake 400 degrees for 1 hour.

I was really hoping this recipe would work for me, but something went wrong... I'm not sure if 400 degrees it too hot to bake it at, but even before the 1 hour was over, it was burnt on the outside, and not cooked thru on the inside. I may try it again, but probably with a temp of 350-375.
