ingredients
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup sugar PLUS"PLUS" means this ingredient in addition to the one on the next line, often with divided uses
2 teaspoons sugar, divided
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups sour cream
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries -- crushed
directions
In a saucepan, combine cream and 1 cup sugar. Cook and stir constantly over low heat until thermometer reads 160 and steam rises from pan (do not boil). Stir in gelatin until dissolved; add extracts. Cool for 10 minutes.
Whisk in sour cream. Pour into individual dessert glasses or small bowls; chill at least 1 hour. Before serving, combine raspberries and remaining sugar; spoon over each serving.

Just the very best dessert I have ever tasted! Rich, smooth, and sooo creamy.....not too sweet and the berries are a lovely counterpoint-just a dab of tart!
