ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Grapenuts cereal
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cups scalded milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
directions
Mix sugar, dry Grapenuts cereal and salt. Beat eggs. Scald milk, then combine with eggs, dry ingredients and vanilla.
Optional: sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour in a pan of water.
