Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 3/4 cup cups hot water

Directions:

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cocoa. Add milk,vanilla and margarine. Mix until smooth. Add walnuts. Pour into greased 8-inch square cake pan. Mix brown sugar and cocoa, sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over entire batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
