Ingredients:
1 pastry (for double crust pie)
7 very ripe bananas, sliced
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons rum
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 tablespoon cream

Directions:

Heat the oven to 450 F.

Line a pie pan with pastry and arrange the bananas in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle with the nutmeg and rum. Dot with butter. Fit on the top crust and seal the edges. Slit the crust in a few places and brush with cream.

Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350 and bake another 15 minutes until browned.
