Maggie's Brownie Pie Recipe

Serves/Makes: 8
Ingredients:
3 large egg whites
1 dash salt
3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups fine chocolate wafer crumbs
1/2 cups chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
unsweetened chocolate
Directions:
Beat the egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. Beat in the sugar gradually. Folding the crumbs, nuts and vanilla. Spread in a buttered 9" pie pan. Bake at 325 F 25-30 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Beat cream and when peaks form beat in the sugar. Spread the cream on the top and grate unsweetened chocolate on the top.
