Heavenly Coconut Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
1 package white cake mix with pudding (18 oz. size)
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup coconut
8 ounces cool whip
1 cup coconut (for topping)

Directions:

Prepare cake mix as directed on package and bake in 13x9 pan. While cake is baking mix sugar, milk and 1 cup coconut in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer all the time cake is baking.

Punch holes in cake and pour coconut syrup over cake while cake is warm. Let cool. Cover with cool whip and sprinkle 1 cup coconut over top. Chill.
