What kind of apples? The store had COMSTOCK sliced in water in a big can. Couldnt find any heavy syrup, natural juice and their are different weights to the can. I just bought two cans of sliced peaches in heavy syrup and hope for the best

Cake is easy and delicous. Can be made with yellow cake, raisans, and a cinnamon sprinkle.

This cake tasted pretty awful. Followed it exactly. Had no spice cake taste at all and was too dry in spots, but moist in others which was ok. Very rich.
