Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil
1 1/2 pound beef top round steak cut 1 inch thick
2 medium onions sliced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 can (16 ounce size) tomatoes
1 can red kidney beans drained
1/2 cup water
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 medium green peppers chopped
1 can hole kernel corn drained

Directions:

In a medium skillet over medium high heat cook steak in oil until well browned on both sides. Remove steak to plate. Cook onions in drippings remaining in skillet: stirring occasionally and adding more oil if necessary. Stir in chili powder and cook 1 minute. Add tomatoes with there liquid, beans, water, salt and sugar: stirring to bread up tomatoes.

Return steak to skillet over high heat and heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low: cover and simmer 1 hour: stirring occasionally.

Turn steak and add green peppers. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until steak is tender. Skim off fat from liquid in skillet. Add corn and heat through. Cut steak in to slices and serve with the vegetable mixture.
