ingredients

1 pound lean round steak, cubed
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon seeded and finely chopped jalapeno pepper
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

directions

Combine the round steak, onion, garlic, and jalapeno in the crock pot.

In a small bowl, stir together the mustard, soy sauce, coconut flavoring, coriander, ginger, and cumin. Stir the mixture into the crock pot.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the steak is tender. Serve with steamed rice.
