Neapolitan Pork Chops Recipe

Serves/Makes: 6
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic -- minced
6 loin chops -- cut 1/2-inch thick
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound fresh mushrooms -- cleaned and sliced
2 green peppers -- chopped
1/2 cup tomatoes -- sieved
3 tablespoons dry white wine
Directions:
Heat oil in a large heavy skillet. Add garlic and cook in skillet until lightly browned.
Season chops with salt and pepper; put in skillet and brown on both sides. Add mushrooms, green peppers, sieved tomatoes and wine.
Cover and cook over low heat about 1 hour or until tender.
