Creole Pork Chops

ingredients
4 (3 ounce size) lean boneless pork chops
1 can (16 ounce size) crushed tomatoes
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 bay leaf
directions
Cook chops in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until lightly browned. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
Return chops to skillet. Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until chops are tender.
To serve, remove and discard bay leaf. Spoon sauce evenly over chops.
