Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup whole milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup whipping cream

Directions:

Scald milk. Separate eggs. Beat yolks and add sugar, maple syrup and cornstarch. Combine this mixture with milk. Cook over water 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add salt and fold into cooked mixture. Add vanilla. Pour into refrigerator freezing tray and chill to a heavy mush. Beat until fluffy. Whip cream and fold into mixture. Return to tray and freeze.
