Serves/Makes:   6

  

Ingredients:
1 can (6 oz. size) evaporated milk
2 cups cubed cooked or canned ham
2 cups cooked rice
1/2 cup shredded process cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 package (10 oz. size) frozen asparagus spears
1/2 cup cornflake crumbs
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

Directions:

Combine milk with ham, rice, cheese, soup and onion. Pour boiling water over asparagus spears to separate spears; drain.

Spoon half the ham mixture into 10x6x1 1/2" baking dish. Top with asparagus. Top asparagus with remaining ham mixture. Combine cornflakes and butter; sprinkle over top.

Bake at 375F for 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through and top lightly browned.
