Cooky Ice Cream Cones Recipe

Serves/Makes: 1.5 dozen
Ingredients:
1 cup Almonds blanched, chopped fine
3 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 cup Water
1 cup Brown sugar light
2 tablespoons Butter melted
3/4 cup Flour
Directions:
Toast almonds 350 F. oven 12-15 minutes. Combine eggs, vanilla, water, sugar and butter in bowl; with a beater until sugar is completely dissolved. Add flour and beat until smooth. Stir in almonds with a spoon.
Grease cookie sheets liberally and dust with flour. Make surface of cookie sheet with 5" circles 1/2" apart, press a bowl of that size and rotate to mark. Measure 2 tb of batter into circles and spread to edge of circle evenly.
Bake 300 F. for 12-15 minutes or until firm to touch. Remove from oven and loosen with a spatula. Return to oven 3-5 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove and immediately wrap cookie around a cone with a sharp point. Use clean cotton gloves if too hot to handle. Remove cooled cones and repeat. Return unwrapped cookies to warm oven about 1 minute to soften. Stack and store airtight.
