Chocolate Frosting Recipe

Serves/Makes: 3 cups
Ingredients:
3 squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
3 tablespoons Cornstarch
1 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon butter
1 pinch salt
Directions:
Mix together the sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add chocolate broken in small pieces. Pour boiling water over all. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients until butter is melted and mixture is smooth. Spread hot. Makes enough for a 9x13 cake.
