Basic German Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:
1 package (18 oz. size) German chocolate cake mix
2 packages (8 oz. size) cream cheese, softened
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 container German chocolate frosting
Directions:
Heat oven to 275. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.
Mix cake mix according to directions on the box. Pour half of the cake batter into the pan and spread evenly. Bake 7-15 minutes until mix is set a bit.
In a separate bowl, blend together the cream cheese, eggs and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Spoon over cooled cake. Pour the other half of cake batter over top and spread evenly. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes at 275 until set. Let cool. Put frosting on top.
