Souper Bowl Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients:
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup pitted ripe olives, chopped
1/2 cup sweet pickles, chopped
2 loaves unsliced round bread
1 1/2 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
1/2 pound Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
2 green peppers, cut into rings
2 tomatoes, sliced lettuce
Directions:
In a medium bowl combine dry onion soup mix, Sour cream, chopped olives and sweet pickles. Chill.
Cut a thin lengthwise slice off the top of each loaf of bread. Reserve tops and hollow out center of each loaf, leaving a 1/4-inch shell. Spread 3/4 cup soup mixture into each shell. Line with lettuce. Into each shell, evenly layer thinly-sliced roast beef, Swiss cheese, green pepper rings and sliced tomatoes.
Top each loaf with remaining soup mixture. Replace reserved top. Chill for 2 hours. When ready to serve, cut into wedges.
