Marinated Green Bean & Lettuce Salad - CDKitchen.com

ingredients

1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/3 cup olive oil
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 package (10 ounce size) frozen French-style green beans
2 medium onions, sliced in rings
1 large head lettuce
1 package (3 ounce size) blue cheese (optional)

directions

Heat vinegar and dissolve in bouillon cubes. Add garlic and seasonings. Add oil slowly, beating well with a rotary beater until creamy.

Thaw beans and combine with sliced onions. Marinate overnight in the dressing. Refrigerate.

Next day, wash and crisp lettuce. Break it up into bite size pieces. Toss with beans, onions, marinade and cheese shortly before serving.
