This Italian cheese is so versatile that it can be used in both sweet and savory recipes from cheesecakes to lasagnas.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

BTW - I didn't actually melt any butter... just sprayed the top of them with "Pam" butter spray and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Made an easy recipe even easier.

Made this with my kids - they loved it. I had some leftover fresh cherries, so made them into a quick "pie filling" with a little cornstarch and sugar. My husband came home and gobbled one up too. Truly quick and easy. And seriously yummy.
