Ingredients:
32 ounces French-style Green Beans -- drained
1 medium Onion -- sliced
8 pieces Bacon
1/2 cup Slivered Almonds
6 tablespoons Sugar
6 tablespoons Vinegar

Directions:

Put green beans in a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Top with onion rings. Fry bacon and save drippings. Cut the strips in halves or quarters and lay over the onion rings. Sprinkle the almonds over the bacon. Add sugar and vinegar to the bacon drippings and heat. Pour over the casserole. Marinate overnight. Bake 45 minutes at 350.
