Easy Chinese Green Beans

ingredients
1 pound green beans, trimmed
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 cup chopped water chestnuts
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 dash ginger
directions
Cook green beans in small amount of water just until tender. Drain.
Saute oil and garlic. Add beans, water chestnuts, soy sauce and ginger. Toss and heat through.

We liked the addition of water chestnuts and ginger to the beans. The soy sauce/Asian flavor wasn't overpowering and this recipe would pair well with a variety of entrees including fish, chicken or pork.
