Seasoned Green Beans

ingredients
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
2 teaspoons dried basil
3/4 teaspoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter
directions
In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients, then set aside.
In a large skillet, saute green beans and mushrooms in butter until almost tender. Add lemon juice mixture and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

yum! I used canned green beans because that's all I had. The mushrooms are great, they taste a bit meaty. Super quick and tasty!

Quite delicious! The sauce mixture really made this a great side dish. Don't change a thing and you'll be pleased with the results. We served it with a fish entree.
