Chuckwagon Stew Recipe

Ingredients:
2 pounds beef chuck -- cut in 1-1/2 inch cubes
1 can V-8 or tomato juice (46-ounce size)
1 medium onion -- sliced
1 clove garlic -- minced
1 tablespoon salt or less
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup cubed celery
1 pound fresh green beans -- cut
2 pounds canned tomatoes with juice
6 carrots -- cut in bite-size pieces
5 potatoes -- cut in bite-size pieces
1 pound frozen or fresh small onions
Directions:
Trim fat from meat; flour and brown. Add tomato juice, onion, garlic. salt, sugar, pepper and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 2 hours.
Stir occasionally. Next add all the remaining ingredients, and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 1 hour.
