Ingredients:
12 ounces rigatoni -- uncooked
2 tablespoons garlic butter -- or plain
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup sliced celery
28 ounces diced tomatoes
6 ounces tomato paste
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon sugar
12 ounces minced clams -- drained
4 ounces sliced ripe olives -- drained

Directions:

Cook rigatoni according to package directions. Drain. Keep warm.

Meanwhile, in 3-quart saucepan melt garlic butter; add onion and celery. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crispy tender (2 to 3 minutes), Stir in remaining sauce ingredients except the clams and olives. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture just comes to a boil (2 to 3 minutes) Reduce heat to low. Cook until mixture thickens slightly (5 minutes). Stirin clams and olives. Continue cooking, stirring gently, until mixture is heated through (2 to 3 minutes). To serve, toss clam mixture with hot cooked rigatoni. Spoon onto serving platter.
