1 1/2 cup grape jelly or jam 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries or raspberries 2 cups chopped walnuts 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 cups rolled oats 1 1/2 cup melted butter
Heat oven to 325. Grease 13x9x2 pan. Combine grape jelly and lemon juice in small saucepan. Heat, stirring occasionally, to combine lemon juice with jelly.
Remove from heat. Stir in blackberries and walnuts. Set aside. Combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and oats. Pour melted butter over flour mixture.
Toss until crumbly. Reserve 2 cups flour mixture. Press remaining flour mixture in bottom of prepared pan to form a crust. Pour jelly mixture over crust.
Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over top. Bake at 325 for 35 to 40 minutes, until golden brown. Cool thoroughly.
