Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

The Easy Macaroons were just not what I expected. Fell apart getting them out of the pan. I used aluminum foil in one pan and sprayed cooking spray and they tore up worse than when I used an unsticking pan with cooking spry. AS for taste they were just ok. On the last pan I used the broiler to brown the tops. The first 2 pans didn't toast the tops at all. I cooked them 12 minutes. I will not try this one again.
The recipe says to drop the batter onto greased cookie sheets. Not foil lined. I'd also avoid cooking sprays and grease the cookie sheet with shortening or butter.
