Bourbon Cookies Recipe

Serves/Makes: 2 dozen
Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup bourbon
***WHITE ICING***
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons bourbon
***CHOCOLATE GLAZE***
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add cocoa; mix well with a wooden spoon. Stir in sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sitr in flour, salt and vanilla. Mix just until combined; do not overmix. Stir in nuts.
Spread mixture in a greased and floured 13x9" pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Sprinkle bourbon over brownies while still hot. Cool completely. Spread with White Icing. Spread thin layer of Chocolate Glaze over icing. Cut into diamonds.
For White Icing, beat sugar, butter and bourbon in small bowl with electric mixer until creamy.
For Chocolate Glaze, melt chocolate and butter in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
