Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 square unsweetened chocolate
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and egg yolk. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
In a cup combine milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture alternately with milk mixture, blending throughly after each addition. Divide dough in half.
Melt chocolate in double boiler; stir into half of dough. Shape each half into roll 1-1/2-inches in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap; refrigerate until firm.
Slice each roll lengthwise into quarters to form pie-shaped pieces. Reassemble dough using 2 light and 2 dark sections for each roll.
Cut rolls crosswise into 1/8-inch slices. Place on greased baking sheets and bake in 350 degree oven 10 minutes.
