Bacon Wrapped Scallops II

ingredients
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
21 sea scallops, cut in half
21 slices bacon, cut in half
1 egg, beaten with
1 cup milk
1 cup bread crumbs
directions
Blanch bacon in boiling water 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Combine flour, salt, paprika, pepper and garlic in shallow dish. Roll scallops in seasoned flour shaking off excess. Dip into egg mixture and then coat with bread crumbs.
Wrap each scallop in bacon slice and secure with toothpick.
Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake scallops until bacon is crisp and scallops are cooked through, about 20 to 25 minutes in a 400 degrees F oven. Serve immediately, plain or with cocktail or tartar sauce.
