Chocolate-Chip Cookie Mix Gift Set Recipe

Decoratively layer the ingredients in a 32 oz canning jar in the order given.

Decorate lid by placing a colored cloth or crepe paper between the jar and lid before sealing. Trim edges as desired, and tie a ribbon around the base of the lid. If using a regular glass jar, use the ribbon to tie the material onto the lid. Give as a gift with a matching color potholder or oven mitt, and tie on a note with these directions:

"In a large bowl, beat 2 eggs, 1 cup of butter or margarine, and 1 tsp of vanilla. Stir in contents of jar until blended. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, and bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen. Enjoy!"
