It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Halloween Witches Cauldron

- #42884
1-2 hrs
ingredients
1 package cherry or strawberry gelatin
candy corn
miniature marshmallows
raisins or chocolate chips
red licorice bits
gummy worms
directions
Make gelatin in a cauldron-like mold according to box instructions.
When half set, add the vampire teeth (candy corn), bones (marshmallows) roaches, ants or bugs (raisins or chips), red eyes, (licorice pieces) and snakes (gummy worms). Mix up and eat, or mix up and let finish setting completely.
It's great fun to have the kids help you make this and tell them the gross version (teeth, bones, etc) of what you are adding to the cauldron. You can do this at a party (particularly fun if you're wearing a witch costume) and just have the gelatin half-set in the cauldron and ready to go. Then "cast your spell" and add the ingredients in front of everyone.
