Chocolate Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup whipping cream
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 eggs beaten
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
sifted powdered sugar
Directions:
Combine whipping cream and chocolate in a heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until mixture is smooth. Set aside. Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in medium bowl, mixing well.
Stir in eggs, vanilla, and chocolate mixture. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 400F degrees for 35 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top.
