Santa`s Seafoam Recipe

Ingredients:
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
2/3 cup water
2 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup marshmallow cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nutmeats
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy 2-quart saucepan. Stir over low heat to dissolve sugar. Bring to a boil, cover. Boil gently 3 minutes, uncover. Boil to a hard ball stage (265 degrees). Remove from heat. In a separate bowl, beat egg white and salt until stiff but not dry. Add marshmallow cream and beat until stiff. Add hot syrup in a thin stream, beating constantly. Add vanilla, beat until dull and stiff enough to hold its shape. Fold in nutmeats. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
