Ingredients:
1 envelope unflavored gelatin powder
3 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 cup milk
4 ounces semisweet chocolate -- chopped
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup flaked coconut

Directions:

In a medium pan, mix the gelatin powder with the sugar; beat the egg yolks and milk together and stir into the gelatin mixture. Let stand 1 minute. Stir over low heat until completely dissolved, about 5 minutes. Add chocolate and cook over low heat, stirring, until chocolate is melted. Stir in extract. Pour all into a large bowl and chill, stirring occasionally until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from spoon.

In a medium bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form; gradually add remaining sugar and beat until stiff. Fold the beaten whites, 1/2 cup whipped heavy cream and coconut into chocolate mixture. Turn into a 5 cup egg shaped mold or bowl; chill until firm. Garnish with remaining whipped cream and colorful candies after turning out onto platter.
