The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans
2/3 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
directions
Combine brown sugar, flour and pecans, set aside.
Combine butter and eggs; mix well and stir into flour mixture. Fill greased and floured mini muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 22-25 minutes.
