Ingredients:
1 package classic yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1/3 cup all purpose flour
2 eggs
2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
1 cup chopped dates

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Combine cake mix, melted butter, flour, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer for 1 minute or until well blended. Stir in oats, walnuts, and dates.

For each cookie, drop a heaping tbs of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Space cookies 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges begin to brown slightly.

Cool cookies on cookie sheet for 5 minutes. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely.
