2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
4 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
12 ounces milk chocolate chips
8 ounces peanut butter

Combine the sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt until mixed. Stir in the butter until incorporated. Slowly add the milk and eggs until completely blended. Grease and flour a small jelly roll pan.

Pour batter into pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 20 minutes.

When done, spread the cake with peanut butter while still hot. Then melt chocolate chips and spread on top. Score chocolate while melted; cool completely and cut into squares.

REVIEW: 5 star recipe rating
To rate a "horrible" recipe 5 stars doesn't give me a lot of confidence that she knows what she is talking about. This is the same recipe that I have seen posted all around the web and the most common suggestion is to use milk chocolate instead of semi sweet.

REVIEW: 5 star recipe rating
This Peanut Butter Tastykakes Recipe WAS awful...the Directions were not right...the "Ingredients"
states you will need vanilla...BUT where in the "Directions" does it say to add the vanilla??? states, after you spread the still hot cake with peanut butter ...melt chocolate chips and spread on does NOT say let Peanut Butter cool FIRST! I will never use this Recipe again...I was left with one BIG MESS and had to throw it out...$$$.... : (
