Fig Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup figs, cooked
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup milk
1 cup cooking oil
3 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup pecans, chopped
Directions:
Cream sugar and eggs. Add milk and cooking oil; blend well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
This recipe can also yield 2 dozen muffins. Baking time when using muffin tin is 30 minutes.
