1 tablespoon butter, softened
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup sugar, mixed with
5 large peaches, peeled/sliced


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

With electric mixer, blend first five ingredients. Spread in greased and floured 15x10" jelly roll pan, or 13x9" plus one 8" cake pan.

Sprinkle half of cinnamon/sugar mixture lightly over dough base. Arrange peach slices by rows on top of base. Sprinkle with remainder of cinnamon/sugar mixture and drizzle melted butter over all.

Bake for 25-30 minutes.

question or comment
This recipe as written does not make any sense. The first five ingredients which you say to mix together includes a tablespoon of butter softened and then two tablespoons of butter melted. The baking powder is never used and the 3/4 cup of sugar is mixed with the peaches. The cinnamon and the melted butter should be down below the baking powder and 3/4 cup of sugar for the recipe to make sense. By the way, it is delicious done this right way.

This recipe is very confusing! First 5 ingredients have butter twice and cinnamon, which is to be combined with sugar for on top of dough and peaches.
Even if I use softened butter, flour, milk, sugar & baking powder for dough---- how much sugar do I mix with cinnamon for the topping???? Help!!!!!

directions call for first five ingred. to be combined, however should be first four and the baking powder.
Not much dough, so just use one 8" rd cake pan. serves 8.
