Ingredients:
1 can (12 ozs.) frozen apple juice concentrate
1 cup cream sherry
5 pounds red delicious apples, cored, sliced and peeled
1 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup grape juice
1/2 apple juice
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Directions:

Preparation: Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. When apples are soft, use hand blender to blend and remove all lumps. Bring to a boil again, then reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, an additional 2 hours.

Notes: If desired, immediately pour into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch at top. Wipe rims of jars and seal, then cool. Store in refrigerator up to 2 months.
