Stroganoff Stew Recipe

Serves/Makes: 8
Ingredients:
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/3 pound stew meat
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cans (10.5 oz. size) beef broth
1 1/2 cup water
2 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
1 cup sour cream
Directions:
Sprinkle flour, salt and pepper evenly over meat. In a large stockpot, heat oil over medium heat. Add meat; cook until brown, stirring occasionally. Stirring constantly, gradually add beef broth and water.
Add next 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium low and simmer 50 to 55 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream.
