Easy Chewy Cake Mix Brownies

In despair because you've got cake mix but you're craving brownies? No worries, you can bake some brilliant brownies with a classic box of cake mix. Throwing in some chopped walnuts is a great call to keep them interesting.

ingredients
1 package (18.25 ounce size) butter-recipe fudge cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, optional
1 can (16 ounce size) prepared icing or powdered sugar
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9" x 13" pan.
Stir together cake mix, eggs, melted butter and nuts, if desired, in bowl until well blended. Mixture will be stiff. Spread in pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until set in the center. Let cool. Spread with prepared icing or sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into squares.
