30-60 minutes
ingredients
1/2 cup margarine
2 ounces baking chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup toffee candy, crushed
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
directions
In a heavy saucepan, melt margarine and baking chocolate squares. Remove from the heat and stir in sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla, beating lightly with a wooden spoon. Do not over beat or the brownies will rise too high, then fall. Stir in flour.
Spread the batter in a greased 8" pan. Sprinkle crushed toffee candy and semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly on top.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and cool the brownies in the pan on a wire rack. Cut when cool.
