Put beans in three times the volume of unsalted water, bring to a boil and let simmer for 30 minutes. Let stand in covered hot water for 2 hours. Mix other ingredients in bowl. Drain beans well and mix all ingredients and beans together. Put in crock pot and let cook on low for 12 hours.
