1 pound ground turkey
1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Preheat the grill to medium-high.
Combine the ground turkey, onion, celery, thyme, barbecue sauce, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Do not overmix.
Form the mixture into burger patties. Place on the hot grill over direct heat and cook for five minutes, turning once, until cooked through.
Serve the grilled turkey burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.

Used the advice about finely grinding the vegetables and that made these some of the best turkey burgers I think I've had. Didn't dry out like most.

Use the fattier ground turkey for moister burgers. The lean turkey breast will end up dry usually. I grind the onion and celery in a mini chopper until fine (not pureed) and gently mix the remaining ingredients. Don't overwork the turkey or it can fall apart.
