10 small candy bars 1 stick butter 2 cups sugar 1 stick butter, softened 1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring 4 eggs 2 1/2 cups flour 1/4 teaspoon soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup buttermilk 1 cup pecans, chopped
In the top of a double boiler, melt the candy bars and butter. Set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, butter and flavoring. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg. Add alternately the flour, soda, salt and buttermilk. Slowly add the candy bar mixture. Fold in pecans. Bake in a greased tube pan for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 275.
