ingredients
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
1 large egg, beaten
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
directions
In large bowl, sift flour with sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg, melted butter and vanilla. Add liquid ingredients to flour mixture, stirring only until moistened.
Spoon into greased muffin pans until half full. Bake in preheated 400' oven for 20 minutes. Remove from pans immediately. Brush with melted butter and roll in a combined mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
