Easy Jelly Filled Doughnuts Recipe

Serves/Makes: 16
Ingredients:
8 slices bread
any flavor jelly
pancake batter
powdered sugar (optional)
Directions:
Make about 1 cup of pancake batter, set aside.
Spread jelly over bread make into jelly sandwich. Cut crust off, and cut corner to corner to make triangles. Dip jelly triangles in pancake batter, cover them.
Deep fry till golden brown on both side. Will have to flip them, they float. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
