The first thing I noticed is that this recipe has no baking soda in it, so I added a teaspoon. I also made it with 2 c white flour, and 1 c ww flour. It came out very nicely, adding the liquid ingredients first...it just isn't really sweet enough for my taste. But it's a nice bread!

This was HORRIBLE! I followed the directions exactly, adding ingredients in order listed. I set the bread machine and came back when it was done. GROSS! It's a little brick that I am going to have to SCRAPE out of my bread machine, and the flour didn't mix all the way through. My guess is that the order is wrong. Most bread machine recipes have you put in the liquid ingredients first, but this was opposite. I realized that when I was doing it but thought that I should just follow the instructions. Recommendation t anyone who attempts this, put your liquids in FIRST! I am very unhappy about this as I was looking forward to some delicious banana bread. YUCK!
CDKitchen Note: You should ALWAYS put the ingredients into your particular machine as directed by the manufacturer. Also please note this recipe does not say an order in which to put the ingredients in the pan so the author assumes you will put them in the order you usually do.
